Thank you for watching my video of my journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway! It was an amazing adventure and something I had always wanted to try. I had so many wonderful and interesting experiences along the way and can't believe I actually accomplished it all on my own. The Trans-Siberian Railway is something every World traveler has to try at some point! I enjoyed it so much that I wouldn't mind doing again some day! ^^ Welcome to my channel! I'm Patrick and this is Patmax Adventures! I'm originally from California and have been living abroad for the past four years. I decided to start this channel to share my experiences and passion for travel with others. My goal with this channel is to share and show as much as I can of the World. My focus will always be on the culture, food and of course the local people of everywhere I travel to! I'm an optimist and always try to highlight the positives of a place rather than just the negatives.Though I will also be bluntly honest at times too! If you love travel and exploring far away places, then you found the right place! Join me in living every moment to the Max!! ^^ ========================================================= SUBSCRIBE TO PATMAX ADVENTURES! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuar... Transsiberian Dream - 7.923 km from Beijing to Moscow

04:01
The Trans-Siberian Railway, another dream come true! The world's longest railway line starts from Moscow and runs 9,288 kilometers through seven time zones to Vladivostok. In May 2017 I was able to document this unique 16-day trip aboard the legendary Zarengold train together with my colleague Christopher Schmid. We traveled the route in the opposite direction and deviated a little from the original route (Trans-Mongolian Railway). Our journey took us along 7,923 km (nearly 5,000 miles) of rail from Beijing via Erlian, through the Gobi desert to Ulaanbaatar, on to Ulan-Ude, along Lake Baikal to Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and finally to Moscow. From the rickshaw ride through Beijing, a night in a Mongolian yurt, a bath in the five degrees Celsius cold Lake Baikal and the legendary vodka tasting aboard the Zarengold train - I sum up the highlights in my new short “TRANSSIBERIAN DREAM”. All aboard! With a length of 9,289 km (5,772 mi) it is the longest railway line in the world. There are connecting branch lines into Mongolia, China and North Korea. It has connected Moscow with Vladivostok since 1916, and is still being expanded. The Trans-Siberian Railway is often associated with the main transcontinental Russian line that connects hundreds of large and small cities of the European and Asian parts of Russia. At 9,259 kilometres (5,753 miles), spanning a record seven time zones[dated info and taking eight days to complete the journey, it is the third-longest single continuous service in the world, after the Moscow–Pyongyang 10,267 kilometres (6,380 mi) and the Kiev–Vladivostok 11,085 kilometres (6,888 mi) services, both of which also follow the Trans-Siberian for much of their routes. The main route of the Trans-Siberian Railway begins in Moscow at Yaroslavsky Vokzal, runs through Yaroslavl, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita and Khabarovsk to Vladivostok via southern Siberia.

FIRST CLASS Coach | Trans-Siberian Railway

12:52
We have saved the best for last! Today we're stepping up and bawling out. It's time for FIRST CLASS on the Trans-Siberian Railway! #Trans-siberian #russia #train Today's video is all about first-class travel (for us). We don't usually travel in style but we figure that we've earned it. We've spent the past 2-3 months traveling the trans-Mongolian / trans-Siberian railway from Beijing, through Mongolia and finally Russia all the way to Moscow. We've had some incredible stops along this magnificent railway line including Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Irkutsk and Lake Baikal (Siberia) and last but not least Yekaterinburg (Siberia). Today we finish our Trans-Siberian journey in Moscow. The first class wagon on Russian trains is a comfortable way to travel. In this video, we look at the key differences between first class, second class, and hard sleeper. We check out the restaurant car and show you some of the wonders of the railway. Trans-Siberian train trip - 10 000 kilometers from Moscow to Beijing

Trans-Siperia on tunnustettu maailman pisimmäksi yksittäiseksi junaradaksi. Trans-Siperian päärata ulottuu 9288 kilometrin matkan Moskovasta Vladivostokiin ja junamatka kestää kokonaisuudessaan 6,5 vuorokautta. Trans-Siperia päärata haarautuu Ulan Uden kaupungissa, josta on mahdollista jatkaa Trans-Mongolian rataosuutta pitkin Mongolian halki aina Pekingiin saakka. Rata on valmistunut 60 000 rakennusmiehen urakalla vuosina 1891–1916 ja sen rakentaminen on maksanut miltei miljardi jenkki taalaa. Pääsimme vihdoin toteuttamaan tämän pitkäaikaisen haaveemme Trans-Siperialla matkustamisesta syyskuussa 2015, kun aloitimme elämämme pisimmän reissun, IKILOMAN, tällä maailmankuululla junamatkalla. Päädyimme valitsemaan Trans-Mongolia rataosuuden, koska halusimme nähdä Mongolian autiot arot ja Kiinan hektisen elämänrytmin. Helsingistä Pekingiin matkasimme kaikkine pysähdyksineen 35 vuorokauden ajan. Despite the language barrier, we tried 4 new foods and had a beautiful day wandering the city! ***TRAVEL VLOG 422***  “Summer City (Instrumental Version)” from Epidemic Sound https://goo.gl/8Gf2qB Second song “Serendipity - Instrumental” by GurtyBeats (Untagged) (https://soundcloud.com/gurtybeats) ——————————————————— 30 DAYS TO BECOMING A TRAVEL HACKER: http://learn.karaandnate.com/p/30-days-to-becoming-a-travel-hacker/ ULTIMATE GUIDE TO LOUNGE ACCESS: http://karaandnate.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-lounge-access/ It’s free :) Learn more about becoming a Patron! https://www.patreon.com/karaandnate GET $40 OFF YOUR FIRST AIRBNB STAY!: www.airbnb.ie/c/karab49 WE LOVE OUR NEW *AWAY BAGS* GET $20 OFF YOURS http://fbuy.me/fZTn5 (We got the “Bigger Carry-On”) Our Links —————————— KEEP US ON THE ROAD: http://karaandnate.com/keep-us-on-the-road/ CHECK OUT OUR PACKING LIST: http://karaandnate.com/travel-essentials/ Social Links —————————— FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/karaandnate/ INSTAGRAM: @karaandnate13 (https://www.instagram.com/karaandnate13/) TWITTER: @natebuchanan (https://twitter.com/natebuchanan) ——————————————————— Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! Travelling the Trans-Siberian - life

05:07
http://www.euronews.com/ From Moscow to the eastern borders of China, the world's longest railway line - the Trans-Siberian, stretches for more than 9,000 kilometres; a truly great railway journey - in this edition of Russian Life. At midnight every other day, a "Rossiya" train leaves Moscow for a week-long trip to Vladivostok. It is an extraordinary trip and many come from far and wide to do it. "This is the longest train journey that one can make," said English tourist Robert Bird. "And you just have to do it, because it's there! I'm happy sitting in the train, looking at the scenery, and going to places that I've never been to before. I just find it so fascinating!" It is a home away from home for hundreds of passengers who sleep, eat, enjoy the limited comfort and try to have a good time during their days on board the train. Irina Savina, one of the train's conductors said: "Very few passengers do the whole journey from Moscow to Vladivostok in a single trip, and those who do should be prepared mentally and physically - a whole week on a train might not be easy. But we provide everything necessary to make it an enjoyable travel." In the first and second classes, there are individual compartments that accommodate two and four passengers respectively. This is a popular mode of transport for tourists and businessmen alike who shuttle between Russia's major cities on trains rather than planes. There are dozens of stations between Moscow and Vladivostok allowing passengers to stretch their legs for a few minutes and stock up on food and drinks. Factfile: The Trans-Siberian * A first class ticket from Moscow to Vladivostok on a Rossiya train costs around 1000 euros, including daily meal service. The third class is 315 euros * First class passengers can order their meals to be delivered in their compartments or have it at a dining car * There's a hot shower in one of the train carriages. It costs 200 roubles (5 euros) * Train personnel is helpful and attentive but doesn't always speak foreign languages * All train schedules in Russia use Moscow time; the time difference between Moscow and Vladivostok is seven hours Many tourists prefer to visit some of the most interesting cities along the track before continuing their Trans-Siberian journey. Some of the most passionate travellers ride in the cheaper third class carriages: known as "platzkart". Here people from many different backgrounds mix together in an open carriage throughout their odyssey. Inna Kryazhevskih who was travelling to Kirov said: "A train journey is a good time to reflect on something, to think of the things we never have time for in our daily lives". Dasha Kryazhevskih who was going the same way added: "Sometimes you sleep a lot, sometimes you read, or do something creative - we made some toys and beaded jewellery while travelling on this train." Vladimir Kosinov, the Train Master, said: "You can learn a lot about Russia by crossing it from Moscow to Vladivostok on this train. If you observe other passengers, especially Russians, if you get to know them then you'll understand many things about our way of life and the "mysterious Russian soul". Lots of people decide to stop in the historic Siberian city of Yekaterinburg and then a few days further down the line in Irkutsk where they can see Baikal, the world's deepest lake. From there they can head south to Mongolia and China or continue their eastward journey to Vladivostok, Russia's main port city on the Pacific Ocean. Whatever the destination, for those with a spirit for adventure, the Trans-Siberian trip is a Russian speciality not to miss. Trans-Siberian Railway: Beijing to Moscow

01:06:55
We took the Trans-Siberian Railway from Beijing to Moscow, stopping in Ulan Bator and Lake Baikal along the way (this is actually the Trans-Manchurian leg). In the process we recorded lots of footage, and though we took a timelapse of most of the trip, watching a timelapse doesn't really convey the rhythm or spatial experience of actually watching the landscape slowly roll by. This is an hour of unprocessed HD clips ranging from a few seconds to a couple minutes each, shot on an iPhone. The whole experience is very hard to articulate, but here are some significant transitions: https://youtu.be/XKnecpolZdc?t=320 – leaving the China/Mongolia border. https://youtu.be/XKnecpolZdc?t=732 – entering Ulan Bator https://youtu.be/XKnecpolZdc?t=1243 – the plains in Mongolia https://youtu.be/XKnecpolZdc?t=1729 – Lake Baikal

Trans Siberian Railroad Vacation Travel Video Guide

25:33
Travel video about destination Trans Siberian Railroad in Siberia. The most beautiful section of the Trans Siberian Railroad travels from Irkutsk in Siberia to the massive Lake Baikal. It takes in Ulan Ude as well as the border town of Nauschki and terminates at the Mongolian capital of Ulaan Baatar. Varied landscapes and exotic towns turn this journey into a fascinating adventure.Travelling from Moscow, and after a total of three days and more than five thousand kilometres on the train, we disembark at Irkutsk, the most beautiful city in Siberia. The city became home of the Dekrabisten who fought for liberty in the former Tsarist empire and were eventually banished to Siberia where they introduced their own culture. In Port Baikal is the remarkable and modern Circum-Baikal train that takes a full day to travel around Lake Baikal. Ulan Ude is an exotic city with a population of a million and for the first time we get a feeling of being in Asia. However, the largest head of Lenin in the world emphasises the region’s association with Mother Russia. In 1666 a winter fortress was built on the Uda River by Russian Cossacks who were travelling east, the Verchneundinsk Fortress. Ulaan Baatar: the station is very quiet. Under the severe stare of the female train guards, passengers leave the train and the luggage is unloaded. The Trans Siberian Railroad is still the longest railway line in the world and connects the continents of Europe and Asia. It is truly a technical miracle and a legend that has survived the passage of time. -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us.
